CEMENTY

right now i'm cementy

it’s a brick, a mountain, stubborn old man

a zone, in the realm 

of nothing going to plan

the minutes roll by

the hours soon follow

my eyes are heavy

brain is hollow

body is restless

disappointed and lazy

i know it will pass

fuzzy and hazy

just a cycle

one of many inside 

round and round we go

on this carnival ride
